Hold Firm demanded updates so I oblige!

We spent the evening trying to save the Man's bike. The derailleur failed miserably and we were hopeful to transplant one from this bike to his but it would not fit, despite them both being Schwinns from around the same time.

This all just happens as we're talking about moving up into the cycling world to some nice, modern road bikes. Well, now it looks like it will happen sooner rather than later for one of us at least...
