Window stories

My adventures took me to Oban. Damp, driech, grey-cold Oban. There were gatherings of bemused, lost looking tourists, wiping their glasses, arguing over what to do next, and whose idea this had been.

I had a great time. I had fantastic breakfast in a very nice warm cafe. But then, I know how to do Oban on these sorts of days. Basically, you drink and eat until the rain stops. It does actually stop, if you wait long enough and patiently enough! When it does, it is somewhat spectacular.

I spent my time, in the warm, thinking about how interesting and wonderfully intriguing were the backs of buildings, the cafe being up an alley. I found myself pondering what stories were being told behind each window.

So many many windows.

Curiosity come to he who waits long enough. And is content in waiting.
