New carpet

Last day before the fam return tomorrow and what a way to celebrate...a brand new carpet at work.

Today just flew by at a ridiculous pace and could have done with another day at the end of it to get things done that we didn't do! From a work perspective, I hate bank holidays, especially a Friday and a Monday. In recruitment it means that your temps are only doing 4 days each week instead of 5 therefore we lose a fifth of our income. Personally think the government should compensate us but hey ho.

Anyway, got home and managed a run on the treadmill before charge knocked at 8. Spent a quick pint in the dog and duck which has truly gone to pot now and we couldn't even finish the beer as it smelt like rotten eggs. Shame that such a great pub has been run into the ground like that.

Met ash and Tom up the crown and the night got very boozy. Stumbled in after a tasty lock in and somehow managed to knock up a bacon sarnie before bed.
