The Halfway House

Driving home today I passed the derelict building that used to be The Brickmakers Arms pub, known as The Halfway House to locals because it stood halfway between the Bedfordshire villages of Wootton and Kempston on the old A421.

It closed as a pub in 1993. I don't suppose it will be standing for much longer.
