Fingerpickin' good

I've done precious little today, which is just as I planned it!

I did, however, start the day with a bike ride which gave me the chance to blow away a few cobwebs. While I was out I stopped off at my friend Mel's house to feed her cats as she's away for the weekend and I took the opportunity to take this snap of her banjo!

This gives me the chance to pay tribute to perhaps the greatest banjo player of them all, Earl Scruggs, who died last week.
