Easter tree

It started a good few years ago when we were in Germany at Easter one year and I saw them all over the place. I liked it so much I decided to take the idea back with me. Usually I collect the eggs whenever I see them in other countries.

The other thing I remember from that holiday was the asparagus season had just started and everyone was eating it in all the restaurants. Joyous!

I'm a bit inclined to think more in terms of Oestre the goddess of the Spring but I do love hot cross buns and Simmel cake.
