Vallis Vale

I really enjoyed the health walk I did last Friday, so much so that I repeated it with hubby ... or at least, that was the plan. It should have been a 4 mile walk, but I managed to get us lost - twice - so we did a bit extra! It was worth it though as Vallis Vale was looking lovely with so many spring flowers in bloom - primroses, cowslips, wood anenomes, celandines and even a few bluebells. The smell of wild garlic was noticeable too. On our way through the Vale, we explored the old Fussell's Iron Works, now derelict as the firm collapsed towards the end of the 19th Century.
