Reason Shall Prevail

On 24 March 2012, the Reason Rally was held on the National Mall in Washington, DC. It was billed as the largest gathering of atheists/humanists/freethinkers in world history. Estimates vary greatly, from 8,000 to 30,000 in attendance, but no matter the number, it was a big crowd that was full of love and fellowship.

There were famous speakers and performers onstage, and everyday folks in the crowd. It was a gathering of like-minded people who were there to celebrate science, reason, love, and togetherness.

I am extremely proud that I was able to attend this history making event.
