Pub games

Went for a decent walk. Wanted to go to 'The Woolpack' which is where Laurie Lee the author used to be a bar fly BUT after studying 2 maps for a long time and despite the fact it is an hour from my house walkwise it was decided that we may get very very lost.....I reluctantly agreed that the footpath/rights of way were like spaghetti junction but worse...

Instead went to 'The Lamb' which meant I got to wander in the allotment whilst Mr H took a different route. Whislt at the pub I had ham, egg and chips which was lovely and BECAUSE it is the holidays I had flapjack and ice cream...what a wonderful invention!!! I also got to play 3 games of dominos in the pub (my kind of bag)...sad to report that the first game was a draw and I lost the other 2 games. Anyone who knows me knows I am a competitive type...oh well.....I have no excuses but it is the luck of the draw yes?
