Sunset over Marval

Today a neighbour who recently lost her husband was invited in to lunch. My sister-in-law is a fluent French speaker. I am not but surprisingly could follow the gist of what was being said but not every word and cannot speak it very well at all.

Later went for walk and spoke to one of quite a few Brits who stay in the village. She told us that it was a short toed eagle I saw on the way to Piegut and that there are Booted Eagles nesting in the village. I have seen 2 birds of prey circling about that I thought were buzzards.
