Purple hellebore

Packed my bags again in readiness to travel up to Mum's house for a brief overnight stay. Off to Sheffield tomorrow to collect son number one and girlfriend from uni.

Left work at lunchtime, dashed home to change and then headed off up North. Had a nice afternoon catching up with Mum and then a meal out with sister too. We went to a pub that had the largest selection of vegetarian dishes I've ever seen. It is not often I get to choose! Dessert was lovely too - macaroon with white chocolate ice cream and a small glass of amaretto. Bliss.

This a purple hellebore from Mum's garden. I'm hoping the cutting she gave me last year will soon be flowering in my garden.
