Anne & Orla in Bristol

After work I got the bus to the airport to meet Anne and Orla at arrivals. Another special moment. Not seeing them all week does make it very special when I do see them, which is some compensation.

We got the bus back to Temple Meads (Orla kept asking whether we were going allegro or adagio) and then walked to the apartment in the dusk light. I carried Orla most of the way as she was getting really tired. She was very excited seeing the apartment and loved the big bed (which we will all have to sleep in).

After being here on my own all week it's really nice to have my family here. We've got four days together to do all the sightseeing Bristol and Bath have to offer.
