Storm clouds

Yet another shot of the clouds on the East coast of Singapore just before a storm. At this time of year there are many which come preceded by sharp winds, then lightning and thunder followed by torrential rain.

They last for no more than an hour or so, often less.

A plane heading for Changi Airport is caught in the light area, the flight path is along the Straits and they often have to run the gauntlet of the lightning storms and are often put on a 'hold' pattern before landing if it is very stormy.
