all mouth...
That's me. Or WAS me.
I have big plans this year to get decent reminders of places I've been and things I've done.
The beach memories are to be a handful of sand and some tiny shells that I can put in my old glass bottles.
I looked but didn't find any shells last weekend. I found a big pebble shaped like a heart and a nice stone.
Next beach I am taking some sand home with me and will hunt high and low for teeny tiny shells.
Blip is the stone found on Alnmouth beach plonked on my vintage Robinson Crusoe* If I found myself stranded on a beach...I'm not sure I would want to head back to civilisation.
*Being a GOOD librarian I should use the book's full name as it appears on the title page of the first edition:
The Life and Strange Surprizing Adventures of Robinson Crusoe, of York, Mariner: Who lived Eight and Twenty Years, all alone in an un?inhabited Island on the Coast of America, near the Mouth of the Great River of Oroonoque; Having been cast on Shore by Shipwreck, wherein all the Men perished but himself. With An Account how he was at last as strangely deliver'd by Pirates
Catchy Daniel. Catchy.
