Went into town to do some seaglass hunting. Due to recent high winds there were many deceased squid/octopi (not entirely sure which) and starfish on the beach. :(

The beach is of the large, flat variety with quite a lot of stones, but it does graduate into sand eventually, when the tide's out far enough. Today there was an artificial plateau of sand on top of the stones where beach meets promenade, along a small stretch of the bay. It looked really odd - there was even about a foot high drop where the sand ended. There were a lot of people enjoying it though.

After my seaglass hunting I walked up the hill a bit and pointed my lens skyward.
