Bit of a squash

Harvest time for the courgettes and marrows. These yellow round ones are really sweet and will be stuffed and eaten, the rest will be made ready for chutney.

Managed to pop to the allotment for an hour after coaching the girls at football. It turned out to be a reasonable afternoon. The ladies in the allotment next to me recieved a letter about the state of their plot and were digging it over toi get out the weeds. If only I had the camera they were covered in a sticky silty mud, I was going to suggest they plant rice.
