Natures ploughman
This monster, probably washed out by the rain last night was lurking in the vegetable patch this morning.
Although you can't make it out on the tape it was at least 15 inches from nose to tail. Though worms have neither as far as I am aware.
Scotland has had some examples of the New Zealand flatworm, I don't know if they are in Spain yet, and I am not sure if I would recognise one anyway but this could be a byblow of the prehistoric behemoths that apparently stalked the earth according to the BBC website.
Anyway as long as it does it's job of eating the soil and pooping out goodness I will overlook his rather unprepossessing appearance (for a he it must be) and hope that the hole I dug is snug and cool enough.
