Arum

Lords and Ladies, or Arum maculatum. Not the prettiest thing I blipped today, but I love its 'down in the deep woods' kind of feel. Okay, it was only a few metres from the A34, but humour me!

It's surrounded by ivy and bedstraw and look on the right - there's the nettle that stung me on the wrist as I was trying to get this shot. Little blighter!!

Have a fab Easter break! My computer is going to hospital, but I should still be blipping from the netbook, all things being equal, so talk over the weekend.. x

PS a Mars bar for anyone who can tell me what that little beetle-y creature is on the spathe (try large)..
