Lanco Peninsular, Vietnam.
Everything you see in Vietnam is a potential blip. I have taken more than 500 pictures with my camera in 6 days but am posting only shots taken with my IPhone.
Vietnam is an assault on the senses; the sights, the colours, the noise, the chaos of the city and the tranquility of the countryside. Which photo to post? The beautiful lady dressed in traditional robes and a motorbike helmet, flaming lanterns floating down the river at night, the young man sculpting bamboo roots into intricate carvings, monks chanting prayers in the lacquered Pagodas, street seller's stalls piled high with exotic fruits and vegetables, mile upon mile of rice paddies stretched across the flat landscape.....
I have chosen this shot of Lanco, between Hue and Hoi An, because it was so eyecatchingly beautiful we made the driver stop the car so we could get out and take pictures.
V limited wi fi in the next couple of days so please excuse my lack of comments for a while.
