A prawn fetish

Just lately I seem to be having a bit of a prawn overabundance. But these tiger prawns are rather lovely and, when nothing else presents itself, you might as well blip dinner.

These prawns are from the north coast, New South Wales and are, for green prawns, black, black, black.

A last minute dinner invitation, (my specialty) I would have loved to blip a bunch of them, but left my camera in Mr C's car, who comes home late, even when we have guests. So could only put one aside to blip when everyone was gone.

They are quite enormous, beautiful, and were delicious in risotto with lemon and mascarpone.
