Shining

When things make a turn for the worst we can become sad and downhearted.

But, no matter what, an element of us still shines.

Just like these daffodils. The weather got cold and the snow fell, making them look sad and droopy. But their colours still shine; bright yellow against the crisp white. They still have the potential to brighten up someone's day.
