Violin playing

I have no musical abilities at all. I started my children on the piano when they were 5 because I thought it would be a great thing for them to learn. My oldest plays the piano, the clarinet at school and has just started the guitar. My youngest came home recently and said that she wanted to start playing the violin. Fortunately, it is something that we can take advantage of through her school. She is enjoying it and seems to be doing a great job playing. At least to my untrained ears!
