Harold Makes His Approach

I was standing on the deck close to the hummingbird feeder, enjoying the view and the warmth of the sun (yes, sun!), when a female hummer came and started feeding. She wasn't at all bothered by my proximity, nor was the male that followed after her, so I went inside and got my camera.

Now that the birds are used to me, it's easier to get decent photos, though the success ratio is still quite low. This is my favorite shot today.
