On the other side of the world!

Good morning Melbourne!
So after a delayed flight from Singapore we landed in Melbourne an hour ish later than originally scheduled. Not the end of the world, the hour and a half queue at immigration nearly broke me though, however I was kept entertained by a 6 year old in the queue behind me, going to an international school she (german) spoke fluent English and was quizzing me on everything possible! I did manage to stump her though when I asked her of she could wiggle her ears (I can) which kept her occupied the rest of the wait to passport control! Simple things.
So I made it to Maria's appartment and luckily for me Rhys is off work for the week due to knee surgery so I was able to spend the afternoon snoozing.....generally triggered by listening to Rhys' online CPD workshops.
We went and watched Maria playing netball in the evening, which kinda felt weird being somewhere where there was hockey training and matches going on as well as the netball and I was just standing watching.
Evening finished with steak :-) so nice not to have a meal based around rice and curry or any variation!
We did pop into the supermarket on route back and I cannot understand how and why their fruit is soooo shiny, like it's been polished with mr sheen!
