The living room creeps slowly forwards toward being finished.

The fireplace beam that twisted has now been replaced and we can start thinking about painting the bare plaster walls at last. Hubby hung the mirror that has been lurking under our bed for the last 6 months - and we're such rebels these days that it's been madly .... wait for it ..... Portrait not landscape! Kooky!!
