Messin' Around on the River

I believe that this vessel is a schooner as the forward mast is no taller than those aft. I first thought it to be a ketch but that is characterised by the fact that the forward of two masts is taller than the rear mast, which itself must be forward of the rudder position.

Please don't think that I have any idea what I am talking about but it looked nice when we too were down by the river this afternoon. Boy it was cold!!!!
