In the alleyway

I like nightshots, there is always something haunting and intriguing about the dark. Some of my favourite shots by photographers are often more dark than light.

When I used to use my darkroom, I used to always black and white shots with as much black as is reasonably possible - I really like the effect. One day I will get a chance to set up the darkroom again (it's packed away at the moment). Digital is nice, but there is something special about using film. I still use a film camera often for shots, and our fridge is starting to fill up with Tri-X that needs developing!
