Getting to the point!

Got to 8:30 this evening and not picked up my camera mainly due to the dreadful weather today (not as bad as some, just loads of rain and high winds). Got home to find things strewn around the garden.

Had a try at some serious focus stacking - it's not quite worked, but at least have had a go. You might see this cactus again once I've got the hang of the massive depth of field that you need to create. This is 10 images and simply not enough.

This was done using my 100mm macro but with a 2x converter to get in real close. That might be the mistake. Possibly better to have a go without and master that first.
