The Moment Of Birth

What an amazingly cold but interesting day we had at Adam Henson's Cotswold Farm Park, snow was falling as we arrived but that did nothing to dampen the mood of excitement and anticipation.

Bottle feeding lambs and kids, holding tiny chicks and watching Kune Kune piglets running around was fantastic fun for The Bros but by far the best parts of the day were spent in the lambing shed.

We were lucky enough to witness the births of 5 lambs at various points in the day.

This shot isn't the prettiest but it does show the moment this ewe's first lamb entered the world, followed five minutes later by it's sibling.

Amazing.
