Bad Day At The Office

I was asked if, along with a friend, I would shoot the harness racing at Stirling today and sell the shots.

It was a bit short notice and my friend is away for the weekend anyway so we had to say "No".

However, I went up to see exactly what harness racing consisted of. Well it was a day out.

The weather was fine when I set off but by the time I got there it was nasty, nasty, nasty - very heavy drizzle interspersed with rain.

The first corner in the first race showed that it could be a dangerous sport when there was a bit of a bump and one horse finished on its own.

I thought it quite funny when I saw one of them coming at me head on and looks can be decieving. They are actually pretty quick.
