Tapestry

West Dean Tea Room again, one of our favourite stopping off places. A treat at the end of shopping. Detail from a tapestry in the entrance, woven on site at the West Dean Tapestry Studio. Couldn't find any more info, but obviously someone with a talent for weaving abstract art into tapestry.

The Studio currently is working on a project for Historic Scotland, restoring tapestries for Stirling Castle. Studio creative director, Philip Sanderson, designed work for the New Parliamentary Buildings in Westminster. High powered stuff and a whole bunch of talent.
