Been quite a nice day.

The Moody Blues from April 1969. Written by their flautist Ray Thomas.

The Moody Blues, who made excellent use of an early electronic instrument - the Mellotron, are probably best known for 'Night in White Satin'. I have had their double-album 'This is the Moody Blues' on vinyl and then cd since the mid 70s.
If you're not au fait with them, well they have sold in excess of 70 million albums worldwide and have been awarded 14 platinum and gold discs since 1964 - and they're still going!
