Companion on the way

This delightful 88 year old entertained me all the way from Newcastle to Peterborough. She supped her G+T, Shepherds' Pie and red wine. On her way to spend Easter with her daughter in Richmond. A good helping of philosophy and family history, with a great measure of get up and "get on with it". Refreshing journey.

Now to Cambridge, London tomorrow. And home. Spectacular success this week, and a bit smug about it! Must shake it off - meant to be penitential season....
