......Drip, drip, drip, little April showers....

So, I didn't have to tidy the garage today either.

The weather forcast last night predidted sleet...so the Boss decided to feed the lawn...the chemical needs to be applied and then rained on to activate it. I woke up at 5.00 this morning and it was persisting down....so I went back to sleep.....thinking that the lawn would be lush green in a couple of weeks.

Up and out at 8.30 to get an Easter egg for Charlotte....it was still persisting down. Back home for breakfast and then out to see the boys....to natter about last night's meeting....and then home for lunch.

The sleet never arrived but the rain has kept up all day....and the wind has steadily increased....and the temperature has dropped.

It's now 10.30, the temp is down to 3 degrees and the wind is absolutely howling...it's like winter again. The Boss and I have stayed in all afternoon, the heating is back on and we've had a curry and a glass of wine.....we've watched some rubbish tv, read a bit (I'm currently re-reading all the Terry Pratchett books on the Kindle) and watched CSI.

Somehow I don't think we'llbe tidying the garage tomorrow either!
