Vianden

We were greeted with beautiful weather today which was a relief as it was a bit foggy yesterday. We walked all the way up the huge hill to the castle - including O which is a big feat for her as she doesn't really like walking (she reminds me so much of myself as a kid - it's scary!). She did ask if she could go in the ergo at one point but I don't think D would have been too keen to give up his prime spot!
The castle was beautifully restored in the 70s and really is fairy tale stuff - well worth a visit, and where the above blip was taken from. We also visited Victor Hugo's house which is now a museum. What is it with Victor Hugo - he seems to have lived everywhere that we visit! Apparently he only lived here for three months but they've made a big deal out of it.

Then we went to a playground which O declared was the best play ground in the world.

She's easily pleased.
