Foliage

I can't be more specific than that. I have no idea what this plant is, only that it has started to grow and I am probably too late to reduce the height of it.

I did some gardening today for, ooh, a full 10 minutes or so, interspersed with taking photos, before it started to rain and I scuttled inside again, like a beetle hiding under a log.

Not my strong point, gardening, but I like the colours of these leaves, particularly as they look like they've been outlined in red marker pen...
