Cape Lion....

.....or Leeuwin as the Dutch explorers named it. Often, this was the only siting of Oz that east bound travellers would see before they reached their destination. The Cape Leeuwin light house guards the shipping channel at the most south-westerly point on the mainland of the Australian Continent. Next stop Antarctica. The weather cleared a bit today, but the wind forgot to bugger-off.

An amazing morning spent underground in the Jewel Cave. A limestone cave complex which rivals anything I've seen before. Next, a long drive to Denmark, in the Walpole-Nornalup National Park and home to some of the tallest trees in Australia. Much exploring awaits tomorrow and hopefully some beach time too. Not sure about going in the sea after the recent shark attacks. Maybe I'll test the water with Stig first.
