World gone mad

Yes, there are more important problems in the world than my having got the wrong size of shower door and having to order a replacement, but it turned into a Victor Meldrew moment (he whose catch phrase was "I don't believe it"] when said shower door was delivered to the kerbside on a double pallet.

Not only that, but the delivery driver said that as it was a kerbside delivery, he'd have to leave it there. What, what, what???

Waste...eco friendly...internet shopping. Oh, I give up! Someone else will have to save the planet. Now I'm going to have to either make a 7-mile round trip to the nearest dump, or have a bonfire to get rid of it. Which is more eco friendly?
