First day at nursery

I was a nervous wreck this morning. I kept it together until we'd dropped him off, then I had agreed to meet my friend Emma for coffee as it was her Henry's first day in nursery too. We both had a cry and a chat and felt better for it.

I did some shopping, filled the car up then went home and tidied my wardrobe - which has needed doing since we moved in over a year ago! I went to meet some of the other ladies from my postnatal group but it was strange being the only one without a baby. Then I went to have an ultrasound scan, and finally picked Henry up!

He had a busy day, lots of playing, painting and a walk in the garden. He wouldn't have any milk but ate a fair amount, including cauliflower and broccoli pasta bake, something he wouldn't eat at home! He self settled for 2 naps and was very pleased to see me when I got there.

Today's blip is Neil and Henry before we dropped him off. His next session is on Wednesday - my first day back!
