Rainy day, so didn't get out and about.

I've had these brochures lying around for a few weeks now. Would like to book a Summer holiday for a few days, but *sigh* I'm not sure where in Scotland, so...... all suggestions very welcome; looking for an affordable clean self-catering (includes BBQ) scenic place with minimal midges, with nearby walks and things to do, especially somewhere where children can have fun too.
