Despondency .......

Little R has been fed up today. She went to an interview last week and was asked back again on Friday but still hasn't heard anything. Her friends have left her out of something and on top of that she has conjunctivitis and sore throat! What seems fairly trivial to us tends to get magnified when you're young and out of work (she's doing a bit of waitressing but that's only evening work). Hopefully she'll feel a bit brighter tomorrow.

Little B spent his second night uncaged in the dining room but did sausages and wee on the floor (fortunately it's wood). Not sure where to go from here. Perhaps shut him in the kitchen tonight. My husband gets up at 5.15 a.m and is not in the mood for play at that hour and that's the problem. If Little B is uncaged he'll want to play!
