West coast heaven

That is Plockton at the entrance to Loch Carron on the west coast of Scotland. We visited in order to view an rowing boat which dated back to 1890 and was still in use today. However it turned out to be rather larger than I wanted.

We went into the village and enjoyed a lovely lunch at Plockton Shores Restaurant. Later we strolled around the village before returning to Portree. Considering next weekend is Easter it is still quiet here. The lull before vthe storm.
