Sound check

I got a lift up to Antwerp with Roland and we arrived at the venue at around 2 pm. There was an immensely long sound check/rehearsal followed by a meal and then the concert, so I didn't get out of the building again until around midnight. There were lots of old friends there and DaveH turned up in time for the concert and the food as well - hurray!

Although we were all a bit nervous due to insufficient rehearsal time and the orchestra's personnel having almost completely changed since the last time we did it, it all seemed to go OK and was very well received. We went back to stay at Danny's flat after.

The photo was taken by Danny, quite early on in the sound-checking procedure. From the left there's Trijn with the accordion and red legs, then the nice lad from the stage crew, Meles blurred by activity of some kind, Wiet checking his metronome and finally Roland himself looking somewhat like Old Father Time.
