Rose II
Sunday lazy Sunday... not quite!
Spent most of the morning waiting for a phone call from a cousin. She is in town with her partner and two daughters and as we seldom have a chance to have some just-the-two-of-us time we were hoping to wangle an hour or so today.
Eventually managed to get together for a chat mid-afternoon and it was lovely to catch up and discuss family business!!
Bacon butties for tea and a play with some of the images I took in Queenstown and Wanaka.....soon have something ready to back blip. The problem is I took so many images that choosing just one for your perusal is very hard.
Whilst waiting for that phone call I played with trying to capture the dew drops caught in and on the grasses of our back yard. Not one was properly in focus which was very disappointing. Thus this image of a dusty sun burnt rose will have to suffice. Note the tiny dewdrops on the edge of a petal left third, centre. Wish I had seen that before clicking...I could have gone closer. Never totally satisfied with the final cut!
