There goes the sun

For a few hours around mid day it felt like Spring was well and truly here. The sun was shining, the view of the mountains was spectacular and Commercial Drive was buzzing with folk looking for Sunday brunch. We met a friend, found a nice looking cafe and tucked into some tasty food. Cherry trees line entire streets and on our way home we stopped to take some photos, just in time for the sky to cloud over!

Tonight was another VIVO event, a brilliant documentary screening about the media artist Norman White made by two Dutch film makers. It was followed by a Q&A session with the man himself and the documentary makers. It was the kind of event which makes you want to go away and make things. With it being Norman White it makes you want to take the remote control apart and reprogram the microwave... Probably a good job we don't have a microwave.
