Today, they just look like little figurines on a shelf, don't they!?

Our 'deary deer' have been rejoined by the fourth who had been missing from the group for awhile. The two on the ends look like little bookends with their tails aimed at the camera. They're just fun!

My Sweetie and I have had a major breakthrough with Mother Comfort's cat, Pepsi! She began purring when he used one of her cat toys (from a distance) to scratch behind her ears, so we seized the opportunity to get closer while her heart was soft toward the toy. Soon, the toy was replaced by our hands and she melted like kitty butter, purring away and demanding more. Nothing like a good scratch behind the ears to bridge the gap between 'the feeders' and a lonely kitty!
