Sculpting the War on Women
My trip to New York was partially to be a guest lecturer in a class called ART AND CULTURE IN PUBLIC SERVICE at Rutgers--Newark. I had the students sculpt living clay into images of certain social issues that seemed important to the class. Some of the terms I used were "racism," "justice," and "women's rights or the War on Women. This powerful image was one of the results.
