Fire dancers

I was trying to take some pictures of fire. But a single snap is no good, because fire is so dynamic. So a montage seemed better (all these were done within a second). But it was too red/orange. Black and white emphasized the forms, which seem to me like dancers on a stage. But would leaving it in color make the flames more lively? You only get one blip.
