Drying out the Army

My very first is a simple record snap - taken several hours before I even knew about Blipping, believe it or not. But having heard about it - I really had to sign up on 1st April and just made it with an hour to spare. I had only taken a handful of similar pictures today and here is one of them.

Grandson Ben appears to have a keen interest in all things Army. He'll be 9 next week and we decided to keep him happy (hopefully) with a good supply of Action Man toys which our son had enjoyed at a similar age. To obtain a decent supply at a price which was not exhorbitant, we decided on the Ebay route and indeed obtained a mountain of gear which is mostly in very good condition.

However, we've done a lot of washing of uniforms and all the models. What you see in the picture is just the vehicles - not invading our garden but simply drying out in the sunshine.

Can't wait to see Ben's face when he sees it all.
