Golden Jubilee Bridge
I was in London today and decided to explore the area near Waterloo station, which has changed so much over the years.
There are so many bridges crossing the river near the Waterloo Bridge and I realised I had never even walked over the original Hungerford Bridge, much less the replacements. The design of each bridge is very complex and finely balanced.
The sky was blue, the moon was just visible, and I liked this view looking upwards. I meant to feature the moon more prominently but it is less noticeable in the photo than it was to my eye.
The minor drama of the day was that my rucksack, including my phone and camera, flew off the Boris bike while going about 15 mph and landed in the middle of the road with no damage! And no cars were behind me.
Perhaps the good luck is because I had been good and worked on a sunny Sunday.
